Adya Kali Gayatri

Achamana
Sip water and say: आत्मतत्त्वाय स्वाहा
Sip water and say: विद्यातत्त्वाय स्वाहा
Sip water and say: शिवतत्त्वाय स्वाहा
Then rinse upper lip twice.

Purification of Water or Jala Shuddhi
Invoke the sacred river with the following mantra:
गङ्गे च यमुने चैव गोदावरि सरस्वति ।
नर्मदे सिन्धु कावेरि जलेऽस्मिन् सन्निधिं कुरु ॥
a. Make the hand assume a~Nkusha mudrA and do japa of mUla mantra 12 times.
b. Then joining middle and ring finger and reciting the mUla mantra, throw drops of water thrice upon the ground

Purification
a. Sprinkle head seven times with the water
b. Taking some in the palm of left hand cover it up with right
c. Then inwardly recite the following mantra four time and transfer the water to right palm.: हं यं वं रं लं
This mantra is the Vija of Ishana, Vayu, Varuna, Vahni, and Indra 
d. Seeing (in his mind’s eye) and meditating upon the water as Fire, the worshipper should draw it through the nose by Ida (left), expel it through Pingala (into his palm), and so wash away all inward impurity.

Offering of oblation to sun or Surya Arghya Nivedana
Recite the following mantra.
ॐ ह्रीं हंस घृणिसूर्य इदमर्घ्यं तुभ्यं स्वाहा

Gayatri Dhyana

Morning
कमण्डलुं तीर्थपूर्णमच्छमालाञ्च विभ्रतीम् ।
कृष्णाजिनाम्बरधरां हंसारूढां शुचिस्मिताम् ॥
In the morning meditate upon Her in Her Brahmi form, as a Maiden of ruddy hue, with a pure smile, with two hands, holding a gourd full of holy water, garlanded with crystal beads, clad in the skin of a black antelope, seated on a Swan.

Mid-Day
मध्याह्ने तां श्यामवर्णां वैष्णवीञ्च चतुर्भुजाम् ।
शङ्खचक्रगदापद्मधारिणीं गरुडासनाम् ॥
पीनोत्तुङ्गकुचद्वन्द्वां वनमालाविभूषिताम् ।
युवतीं सततं ध्यायेन्मध्ये मार्तण्डमण्डले ॥
At midday meditate upon Her in Her Vaishnavi form, of the colour of pure gold, youthful, with full and rising breasts, situated in the Solar disc, with four hands holding the conch-shell, discus, mace, and lotus, seated on Garuda, garlanded with wild-flowers.

Evening
सायाह्ने वरदां देवीं गायत्रीं संस्मरेद् यतिः ।
शुक्लां शुक्लाम्बरधरां वृषासनकृताश्रयाम् ॥
त्रिनेत्रां वरदां पाशं शूलञ्च नृकरोटिकाम् ।
विभ्रतीं करपद्मैश्च वृद्धां गलितयौवनाम् ॥
In the evening the Yati should meditate upon Her as of a white colour, clad in white raiment, old and long past her youth, with three eyes, beneficent, propitious, seated on a Bull, holding in Her lotus-like hands a noose, a trident, a lance, and a skull.

Japa
Having meditated, and offered water three times in the hollow of joined hands, one should perform gAyatrI japa either ten or a hundred times.

आद्यायै विद्महे परमेश्वर्यै धीमहि तन्नः काली प्रचोदयात् ।

Adya Stotram

The Adya Stotram / আদ্যা স্তোত্র / आद्या स्तोत्रम् , which is very popular in West Bengal, is a hymn in tribute to Adya Ma.  It has 20 shlokas in Sanskrit written in very simple language and talks about the greatness of Adya Ma and the benefits of understanding and reciting the stotram. The benefits of daily recitation of the Stotram are: Protection from death, sickness and fear Conceiving, for those women who are childless Protection from any danger during travel especially by water Protection during wars Protection during troubled times Receiving the same amount of blessing as going on holy pilgrimage Adya Ma is regarded as the physical form (manifestation) of Adya Shakti. Jagaddhatri Stotram and Jagadhatri Puja

  Jagaddhatri also spelled as Jagadhatri (Devnagri: जगद्धात्री, Bengali: জগদ্ধাত্রী) literally means She Who Holds the World or the Protector of the World . She is a form of Devi Durga. She is highly revered in West Bengal, especially in Chandernagore (my ancestral home) which has the biggest celebration of Jagaddhatri Puja in India. People come from all parts of India to Chandannagar to enjoy the amazing light works and show. Other places where the Puja is celebrated with gusto are Bhadreshwar, Hooghly, Rishra and Krishnanagar.
