In this post I will talk about some amazing facts about Atharva Veda (Sanskrit: अथर्ववेद, Bengali: অথর্ববেদ ). The Atharva Veda is a sacred Hindu Veda text. The others are Rig Veda, Yajur Veda and Sama Veda.

Atharva Veda is one of the earliest Indo-European texts the bulk of which is from 1500 BC to 1000 BC.

This is what modern Big Bang Theorists say. That there was no concept of time before Big Bang or creation of Universe.

The Adya Stotram / আদ্যা স্তোত্র / आद्या स्तोत्रम् , which is very popular in West Bengal, is a hymn in tribute to Adya Ma.  It has 20 shlokas in Sanskrit written in very simple language and talks about the greatness of Adya Ma and the benefits of understanding and reciting the stotram.   Jagaddhatri also spelled as Jagadhatri (Devnagri: जगद्धात्री, Bengali: জগদ্ধাত্রী) literally means She Who Holds the World or the Protector of the World . She is a form of Devi Durga.
